It was in 2020 when Slicen Dyson brought out the chef Slicen in him as he began to cook daily, often concocting recipes for a variety of meats in his backyard pellet smoker. It was overtime with practice and study that chef Slicen began to hone his culinary skills. Sharing his talent with family and friends, he began to receive high praise with many suggesting he make it a business, but at the time Slicen was committed to keeping it a side passion. 

Uncertain of what to do following his college graduation in 2023, Slicen sought guidance and received divine inspiration.

Dyson discussed the idea with cooking friend Matt Raivel and received advice from friend pastor Mike Donohue who reminded him that “one’s gifts are often associated with what they receive compliments on.”  Remembering suggestions he received from others to use his cooking skills in the food business and recognizing the platform it would provide, Slicen went all in resulting in Slicen Dyson Smoked Meats. 

Slicen Dyson's passion combines the ability to break bread and create everlasting bonds while embracing the grace given to him, the gift of barbequing.
